MAN UTD PAYS TRIBUTE TO FAN WHO DIE DURING WESTHAM CLASH

         SAD AS MANCHESTER UNITED FAN DIES DURING GAME

A Manchester United fan died during Monday’s match against West Ham.
The Reds supporter is understood to have been taken ill during the match in the London Stadium’s Away end.
The death was confirmed by The Metropolitan Police and both clubs have paid tribute.
It's understood the fan collapsed having suffered a suspected heart attack and crowd doctors - who are given season tickets and react to a medical emergencies - were quick to react, followed by paramedics.
He was taken to Homerton Hospital where he sadly died.
It’s understood that during the match, which kicked off at 5.15pm, fans were aware of someone needing medical treatment in the upper tier.
Many medics were seen around the fan, who was taken from the stadium in a stretcher.
A message on The Met’s Twitter page read: “Unfortunately the @ManUtd supporter who collapsed @LondonStadium has passed away, condolences to his family/friends at this sad time.”
